Plaster, lime, gypsum
Plaster: Ehinger Impianti manufactures grinding plants for raw materials used for the production of plaster. The exact grain-size of the products and the accurate selection of several grain-sizes allow the production of constant and high quality plasters. See a typical example of flow diagram.
Lime: the use of centrifugal RM mills for the grinding of hydrated lime, combined with air-classifiers type SEV-DS, allows a low energy consumption grinding both for chemical lime as well as for building and other application lime. The grinding system is not humidity sensitive. Similar advantages can be appreciated in the quick lime grinding. The following photograph shows a mill type RM-150 inserted in a grinding plant of hydrated lime.
For the classification of hydrated lime, SEV-DS air-classifiers are inserted in controlled air circuits. The picture of a plant can be seen on the SEV DS web-page.
For the grain size comminution of calcium oxide sized 0-120 mm, we can obtain important advantages through roller mills type C, in order to reach a grain size under 40 mm with little fine material, see picture of roller mill C50-50 used for this aim.
For calcium oxide crushing from 30-40 mm to 8 mm the most suitable machine is roller mill C100.25.
Gypsum: air-classifiers type SEV-DS have an excellent ability in disagglomerating sticking materials: this quality makes them particularly suitable for pneumatic air-classification at middle and high fineness of burnt and raw gypsum.
